Have fun at a sports camp in Austin

2016/7/27 15:35:06

"All work and no play make Jack a dull boy". Do you remember this proverb? It is very true in the literal sense. In order to make most of the total development of a young child it is very essential that he plays, or in other words, physical activity. Knowledge isn't only in the books. Bookish knowledge will make the kid pass in exams but that's about it. He will not learn the world as such. Reality is very different than in the books. In order to acquire true knowledge one must strike a balance between bookish and outdoor knowledge.

The problem nowadays:

Nowadays it is a very sad sight when I see kids spend their afternoons in homes with their Sony Play stations or Xbox. I couldn't imagine a time when we would be in homes in those afternoons. For us it was kind of like a crime not to go outdoors and play. Children nowadays are getting smart in one way but they lack what it takes to understand the real world. Their world is confined within homes, computers and video games. This is very alarming.

If you are just as worried about your kids and if you happen to be in Austin then you have good news. Austin is a beautiful city, the capital of Texas in USA. Whether your kid is a sports enthusiast or not there are different sports camps in Austin. You can get your child enrolled in these camps during holidays or after school and let them have real fun instead of virtual ones. One must understand that physical activity is very essential for an all round development of the child both mentally and physically. If you are around Austin then you might as well look for sports camps round rock too. Sports camps in cedar park are quite the rage today with more and more children joining them.

Let's go through the benefits:

•    Physical activity boosts the body's endurance and stamina. This means the kid will not get tired easily after school. He will still retain energy to do home works and other curricular activities.

•    Learn discipline because various sports have rules and the participants are bound to follow those rules.

•    Meet new people and make great friends.

•    They will learn to respect other players and learn team work which is very important. He will know that achieving something as a team is easier than going alone.

•    Sports will boost his immune system as well. They will become tough kids and not the ones who fall sick in the rainy season.

•    They will build leadership qualities because they will be leading or make valuable contributions towards their teams.
