Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas denies allegation over Arsenal exit

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has refused that he played out his last season at Arsenal, Knowing that he is move back to Catalunya was being readied. The 24-year-old persist that his transfer to Camp Nou was not pre-planned and that his focus was always on the Gunners, and weighs up Barcelona chances of success in the Club World Cup

During in an interview on Thursday, the Spain international decided to set the record straight about his confused return to the Catalan giants during the summer, he said that only injury troubles prevented him from gaining any consistency in 2010-11.  Fabregas insisted that ‘not for one moment, because he never knew what the future held. Fabregas was an Arsenal player and under contract until 2014, so he wasn't thinking of leaving.

Midfielder Cesc Fabregas, says that some people are claiming just because he didn't play very much and had a lot of injuries, that it was a bad season for him personally. But, Fabregas diagrees as he still scored nine goals and made 20 assists. However, all the news about him for not playing was trashed as rumors, and he knows what is true that he had one injury after another, and every time he got back to full fitness, something else was happening and not able to make into the field. Then he have to start again from starting the same fitness exeercises and retain full fitness and this has been the process. However, mentally he was 100 per cent focused on Arsenal.

Cesc Fabregas was then asked on his current employers, and he voiced his delight at the speed of his transition into the Barca first-team. The World Cup winner has already found the net five times and has provided an impressive five assists to team-mates, despite arriving in late August.

The 24-year-old says that his transition has been very comfortable, and in fact its was happier. Fabregas has been greatly encouraged by his good early-season form.  To be honest, everyone at the club has been helping him in a great deal, above all his team-mates, some of whom he have known for many years. He also added that, the fans have been great with him, so he has no real complaints against any club.

Barcelona midfielder then altred the topic of the forthcoming Club World Cup in Japan, which kicks off on December 8, and Fabregas says his team will always bear the expectation of winning.

This is Barcelona and they were appreciative to win every game. It's what people expect, and the the midfielder continued saying that makes it mandatory for them and they have to deliver. It's the same for Real Madrid, AC Milan, Manchester United, Juventus and Bayern, among others. That's just the way it is at big clubs.

Barcelona will enter the competition at the semi-final stage with the fixture set to be played on December 15, and will play host to Levante in La Liga on Saturday.
