The effect of breathing high pressure gas can lead to decompression sickness (formation of gas bubbles), Nitrogen narcosis (reversible alteration in consciousness producing a state similar to alcohol intoxication in divers), and Oxygen toxicity (when oxygen in the body exceeds a safe "partial pressure").


The main areas in the world where this sport can be enjoyed includes Australia, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Seychelles, and India.
