What is a base hit

Answer
Well a base hit is when a batter reaches the base safely whitout a fielder making an error. It can come numerous ways. You can hit a line drive and if it falls and you reach base then it's a base hit. Beating a groundball can go as a hit also. There's many interpretations on it. It absically comes down to a judgement call. Hope it helped, and nice name too :)
