College Exposure Realities

Question
My son is a sophomore starting pitcher/IF who, I believe has the ability to play college ball. What is the best way (without spending money I really don't have) to get him noticed and prepared for recruiting/scholarship offers in the next couple of years? Is the best source camps? combines? Perfect Game type showcases? or just sit back and wait? He is a 4.0 student and attends one of the 5 largest schools in the state.

Answer
If your son is truly one of the elite players who can play at the Division I level, then you can just sit back and wait for them to come to  you.  A letter to the coach introducing your son is also an inexpensive way.

If he is one of the between type of players, then showcases really are your best bet to get noticed.

Best of luck.
