minor league allstar eligibility

My son plays on a minor little league team. He is only 8, b/c of his age is he still eligible for all star selection?

Only players league age 9 are eligible to the 9-10 year old team for tournament play. Some states and districts hold tournaments for younger players. Please consult your local Board of Directors for more information.
