Injured Player Junior Little League

Question
We have a boy on our team that broke his arm after the first 2 games of our regular season. He showed up for every game and every practice dressed down and ready to support his team.  His cast came off and he wants to play on the all-star team, but he did not play in 60% or more of the games during the regular season. Is he still eligible to play and if so, what forms do we need him to fill out in order to play?

Answer
Jamie:  Thank you for your question.

I have no working knowledge of the eligibility rules within Little league.

I looked in the rule book and the 60% figure does come into play.  The best I could suggest is to talk with your league President or board and see what there might be. Apparently all decisions at tournament time come out of Williamsport, have nothing to do with local rules.

There may be some type of variance from the national level.

Sorry, not much help on this one.
