Little League Rules

Question
If a 10 year old boy opts to "play up" in the 11/12 division of little league.  At the end of the season can that boy play on the 10U all-star/tournament team?  Thanks

Answer
Hey Greg,

The issue regarding where the child plays during the regular season is completely up to the local league Board of Directors on where they wish to place that player.

Little League regulations state that a child who is 10 years old, who participates on a Major Baseball or Minor Baseball team during the regular season may be selected to either the 9/10 year old or 10/11 year old all star team.  While he is playing with 11/12 year olds, he would not be eligible to participate on the 11/12 year old all star team.

I hope this has helped.
