Baseball Interference: Understanding Runner Rights and Play Continuation

Question
Men on first and second.  Batter drops a bunt in front of home plate that is fielded by the catcher who throws towards first base but hits the bunter in the back.   Who ends up where?  Thanks

Answer
Bill,

If the batter-runner did not interfere with the throw, and was in the running lane, which it sounds like he was, the ball remains in play, and runners may continue to advance at their own risk.

I hope this has answered your question.  Should you have anymore, please don't hesitate to ask.
