Baseball Coaching Rules: Pitching Distance & Regulations for Youth Leagues

Are there any regulations as to the distance from the batter that the coach pitcher has to be and can he pitch from his knee and move in close to the batter?

I'm sorry to say that I don't know the answer to this question.
If they are just 7 year olds, I think that the kids should be out there to be successful. If it takes you moving a little closer to them, so they can hit the ball, then it should be done.
