Re-Training After a Break: How to Regain Fitness and Lose Weight

I been playing basketball for as long as I can remember but over the summer i kind of slacked off and gained 10 pounds how can i get back in shape and loose the weight.

This is really not my area of expertise, however, you need to figure out why you gained the weight in the first place. Check your diet, make sure you eliminate as much fatty foods as you can. If you like meat, focus on lean meats like chicken and fish, and eat lost of vegetables. Get yourself on a cardio work-out routine. I"m not sure what your age is, so you might want to consult a doctor before going on any kind of work out program.
