Best Bowling Ball for Speed & Rev Rate: Expert Advice

Question
Chip, I'm returning this time with a question from a friend of mine - Hi Chip, I'd like your insight on what type of ball you think will help the most.  I'm right handed and throw 16 pounds.  I usually stay on the right side of the lane as i throw between 21-23mph.  The problem is that I have a lot of speed, but not the revs to make up for it.  on the drier shot like open bowling or un-dressed lanes i get a great ball finish but when the lanes are wetter or during league i start leaving pocket 8-10 or 5-7, 5-10s as my ball isn't driving through unless it's high flush.  i average anywhere from 195-205 on a house shot.  I'm looking to get a new ball with a strong coverstock and strong core.  Do you think i should look for something with mid lane roll, polished finish?  dull finish?  i've been looking at so many aggressive balls lately that i just don't know where to go, i see the lane1 curve, mutant cell, maxxx zone, red death, siege, blue death, c system 3.5, virtual gravity energy and invasion, etc. Also, how should i get this ball drilled to get max hook, i want the ball pretty much turning right out of my hand just so i can keep my speed there and get the reaction i want on wetter lanes.  thanks!

Answer
I would suggest something with a dull finish.  That will help the ball get into a roll sooner.  I would place the pin below the ring finger and the cg right and below the midline.
A couple of good ball choices would be the Virtual Energy or the Siege.  I think the VE would be more versatile.

Good luck,
Chip
