Ball Driller

Question
I am trying to find a new ball driller.  I have used the same guy for all of my equipment and he has done a magnificent job.  However he is no longer available to me. I really need someone good and dont want to waste my time and money.  I recently purchased a Storm Natural for its smooth transition and my high rev rate.  I want it drilled for medium to light oil lane conditions(short sport shots,THS) and was going to go with layout #1 from the drilling layouts page on storms website.  The only problem I have is that I havent had anyone in San Antonio, TX drill a ball for me besides the guy I mentioned before. When I am looking for a new pro shop, are there any questions that I could ask that would give me an idea of how much experience they might have? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
I do not know a ball driller in your area personally.  I would ask other bowlers in your area where they go, especially the higher average and tournament bowlers.  If they reccommend someone, I would give them a try.  If that doesnt work, look for a pro shop that is a member of IBPSIA.
Another place to look is the ball manufacturers web sites.  Look for shops that are part of their network.

Good luck,
Chip
