How can I increase my accuracy? I got a lot of power on the ball just not the accuracy.How can I make my accuracy better?

The Key to improving your accuracy is practice and repetition.  Work on on your fundamentals and the basics.  I have thaught working on 5, 10, 12, 15 yard passes.  Once you perfect those passes then work on 20 yard ones. Don't worry about the long pass.  A common mistake is to concentrate on long passes, most passes are within 15 yards of the line of scrimmage, that is where you need to concentrate your accuracy.  

Work on Target Drills.  First one I recommend is passing through a hanging tire. Start at 5 yards as if you were under center, drop straight back, using proper mechanics and foot work and pass through the tire.  Do this for five minutes.  Then move back 2-3 more yards and do it again for 5 minutes.  Then move back so you are 10 yards from the tire, then 15 yards and 20 yards.  Take time spending 5 minutes.  If there is a certain distance that gives you problems then go back and spend another 5 minutes at that distance.  you should do this daily.

If you are still having problem some QBs will do this drill without throwing the ball - the VISUALIZE the pass andthe ball going through the target.  you may want to try the visualization technique as well.

Next, set up the targets where you want to complete the pass (i.e. 5 yards, 7 yards, 10 yards, 12 yards, and 15 yards# to represent where you will throw the ball on pass patters #i.e. screens, outs, button hooks, flats, etc.).  Set up the target according to a specific play.  The targets can be  if you want. When you drop back, read the field then throw to the target.  This will create build muscle memory and they will make these passes in games very easy. Concentrate on your accuracy.  You should spend about a half hour to 45 minutes a day working on targets.

After you develop consistency and accuracy throwing the ball to the exact location on the targets then move a few targets to 20 yards, 25 yards, 30 yards and 35 yards.  If you want to have a little fun place one target 50 yards down field and only give yourself five passes a day to make it.  This will cause you to visualize the long pass. Further most passes are not that long and working on accuracy on the shorter passes is key.

It is vitally important that during these drills your QB fundamentals and mechanics are correct, i.e. footwork, shoulders, holding the ball, eyes, and throwing mechanics.  These all increase the accuracy of a pass.  If your mechanics are not perfect you can not throw an accurate passes.
