how do i become a all around better captian and qb

hi,imm playing my second year of highschool football,and im going to try out in the summer as a qb.so i figured that it would be good if i work on my skills and my leadership skills on the off season,and knowone thinks i will make it.but i know i can.problem is im built like a line men, and i have played that for 5 years. and im not a very good leader.i was wondering if you could tell me anything i could do to work on my leadership skills and possibly my passing/scrambling skills.im only 5'5.not very tall at all.but i have the raw material.i know i do.im just a dull shoe waiting to get polished.will u please give me any advice you know???

Dear Mason,
you lead by example. You do not have to be the quarterback to lead your team. A leader does whatever he has to do to make his team better. You might want to think about that before you switch positions and leave your team one man short on the line of scrimmage. If you still want to be a quarterback let me know and I will help you.
