Question
i am going to be a junior next year but i didnt play my sophmore year i have gained alot of weight i am about 5'6 and weigh 280 i was thinking about going out for d'end or linebacker so do u know any work outs that can get me faster and stronger and help me lose weight i really wanna get back on the feild but i dont know how to get back into shape please help

Answer
Carlos you are a big guy and coaches are always looking for big guys.  But I don't think D-end or linebacker are realistic positions for your size.  You will probable play o-line or d-line.  Which is the heart and soul of any team.  It is important to get back into shape.  Lay off the fast food and junk food.  Give up pop and other bad foods and drinks.  Start running everyday.  You need to cut down to around 255.  So that you can be at your best and strongest for the season.  Be sure to talk to your coaches and let them know that you want to be on the team next year.  They will have a summer program for you to attend, so get that information and make sure you are their.  GOOD LUCK COACH NOEL!
