Being Better at Quarterback

Question
My name is Alex and I currently play backup Quarterback on the Varsity I'm a sophomore. My question is I feel like I definitely have what it takes to become our starting Quarterback but what are some things I can do to be the best possible quarterback i could possibly be and more importantly how to get noticed by the coaches in practice?

Answer
Try to  get a complete understanding of the offense. Make sure that every time you are called on that you are ready. Understand that talent also consist of your knowledge at the position you are playing. The way I got noticed when I was a freshman, was that I would always get in and be the other teams running back when the varsity was working on their defense.
