NFL Touchdown Rules: Receiver Out of Bounds - Official Explanation

Question
while the receiver is in the in the inzone and if he jumps and catches the ball in the air and if he is pushed out of bounds is it a touchdown.......we got a bet going on and we need to know the answer cuz we got a lot of money going on.....

Answer
As a referee, I always make 50% of the crowd happy!!!!!!!  In NFHS (high school) & NCAA (college), a receiver can be "carried out" but get the spot if in fact the official rules that he would have come down in bounds on his own accord.....

However, in the NFL, the receiver must touch the ground w/ both feet in bounds no matter what.....So did you win or lose the bet??????

If this helped, please leave a positive rating, if not then please advise how I may assist you further........
