Running the Wing-T Offense from Shotgun: Strategy & Advantages

can you run the wing t offense out of a shotgun alignment

    Hi Coach!  Interesting question, personally I have never coached against another team that had ran anything like that.  I would think that trying to run that offense from the shotgun, would gain you much of an advantage.  For example a big, part of the wing t is deception at the point of attack.  Being farther from the line of scrimmage, would seem to slow the play down, and be less deceptive.  Pulling guards on the wing counter play also would seem to be also messed up.  But to be completely honest, I don't know.     Sorry that I couldn't really help on this one.
