Is It Possible for a Girl to Play Football & Reach the NFL?

I've loved football for a majority of my life.  My favorite team is the patriots, and I've liked them since 4th grade.  I am currently 14 years old and interested in joining a football team.  What do you think of that?  My dad says that he doesn't want me to get hurt, but it really doesn't bother me.  I would be the only girl on the team, but not the first.  Do you think it would be possible to make it to the NFL? (That's just me dreaming)

If you are committed to being a football player, then you will do it. People will try and put you down. Please do NOT listen to them. If you stay commited, you will become a major success story in life and you will make yourself very proud. Keep up your dreams and you will be on that football field. Good luck:)
