Question
QUESTION: Hey rob I couldnt send another message so I had to make a new one, I see what your saying. This is why honestly I should of had an agent because I wouldn't of gotten sucked into this. I'm going to contact who ever it is that does the stats and info and see what they can do. What will happen if they can out all my info and my pic, but not my stats since its been long they would probably be taking my word for it.  If it shows I played on he team and played 5 games, but no points what will that do. What if I also could somehow get my coach to give me a referal to your friend or anyone else for that matter. I do to to camps for 3 years, I went to a can am camp from ages 10-12. That was long ago I'm not sure what that would do now though right? Also what do you think would happen if I contacted some echl and ahl teams around the area to see if I could come to a few practices during the week? What do you think the coach or gm would say because then they would get to see me play. Also yes, if you could talk to your other friend also that would be great.

ANSWER: Cory,

Thanks for writing.  You can check with a scout, maybe he will not need any stats from you.  As for contacting ECHL or AHL teams is okay.  This is why I recommended that you call them and ask when their free agent camp is.  Ask then it they have a walk-on try-outs for players that want to be seen.

As for my other contact in Turkey, he's on facebook.  Do you have a facebook account?  If so, let me know what it is so I can have him contact you directly.

QUESTION: Yes, I do have one, did you want a link? Or did you just want to type in my name Cory Rodriguez because it will come up. I will talk to scouts and agents and what not, as for the teams do you think they would let me come down this year to a few practices? Or it's to late in the season?

Answer
Cory,

Contact teams that have a bad record.  Then call the coach or management staff to find out if, and when, do they have open try-outs.  Have your agent do all this for you.  If you can afford him, you will have to do it yourself.

Good Luck
Rob Lopez

PS: as for my friend in Turkey, he asked me to have you send stats.
