Chest protector

2016/7/16 9:37:31

Question
Hi My name is Nicole and I have recently got a new chest protector. This is only the second new chest protector I've ever gotten and I'm scared that it will be to stiff and will restrict my playing next season.  I've played with it once at a tryout and its totally different from my old one.  What should I do to break it in during the off season?

Answer
hi nicole
i hated new chest protectors so i wore my old one for about 20 years!!
wear your old one during tryouts and just wear the new one around the house w/ your shirt over it and put on your gloves and simulate moves w/ it. you can also roll it up and squish it around to try to loosen it up.
