Lock, Eigthman or Outside centre

Question
Hi Nick I currently play Lock for my school rugby team, I am 14 and 6 ft 2 and roughly 14 stone, I love playing lock and since i started playing two years ago its all ive ever played, but now both our number 8 and outside centre have been injured and our team has a game in 2 weeks, neither players injuries will have healed in time, and we have no replacements for either of those players. We have a replacement lock and flanker tho, but I have been asked to play number 8 or outside centre while the sub flanker will take the other injured players position. I am quite fast, hard to take down, have a good pass, decent kick and a fairly good tackle, which position do you think I would perform better in?

Answer
Hi Lewis, sorry fo rth edelay I have had some unexpected health issues and I didn't a chance to put my self as Unavailable.

It sounds like you could play any of those positions mate. I suggest going for the one that you WANT the most. That will make you a better trainer and player overall.

Work with your coach on it also, a couch will work with you if you are open to discusion but stand your ground.
