if i could play?

Question
I've played football about 5 years and im in college now, i'm 5'11 and 180 lbs i can take and give a hit if need be. I was wondering if that height and weight is alright and is there anything i could work on to get better or bigger?

thanks

Answer
Pace is a priceless commodity and if you've got that, you've got a big advantage.Rugby is about getting the ball and exploiting space and if you've got that extra yard it gives you so many opportunities. Work on pace and work on strength. Bigger is not always good...some of our best players are under 6ft. I think what matters most is attitude in a game, the ability to better your opposite number, Watch what he does and copy or better it, look for a weakness...maybe he has an obvious injury or only runs a particular way, watch his interaction in the scrum. Your hight and weight is fine...Look for ways to better your play maybe get someone to video tape a few games so you can watch your field positioning, be hard on yourself while watching and then pat yourself on the back for the good things.
Hope this helps.
