Question
Dear Expert
I used to be a prop 3 years ago( the last time i
played) because i was quite heavy set and small and slow!
Now i'm starting to play again and since then i've gotten
taller and faster. 6ft 2" to be exact and its rare i find
someone faster then me and on a scale of fitness i'd be
about a 7/10 but i'm not that musically and my weight is 13
stone or 83Kgs so what do you reckon? also i only know how
to play prop.... any suggestions would be so greatly
appreciated because i love the sport so much and would love
to know a position to aim for! Thank you

Answer
Work on your fitness more ( you need that for any position) and find a trainer and gym to work out. Always work on ball skills. I would go for blindside flanker. Focus on supporting the ball carrier and scavaging the ball at rucks and the tackle area / break down. Watch pro-rugby and really look at what the pros are doing. Look at Richie McCaw in the AB's or Pokcock the Aussie for the gold standard of flankers.

Be the first one to the ball.
