Advice for left winger

Question
I am 14 year old who is going to play for NSW State Championships at Australia in a few days. I am 174cm, about 73kg and medium built frame.I play the style of Jonah Lomu or Pierre Spies that uses pure speed and strength using the fend but can also use a swerve. I ran about 12.00 seconds in my 100m.
I do have decent passes on both of my hand.I am also flexible and strectch them 3 times a day.I do have strong leg drive and decent upper strength.
I am very good at rucking against any size of players but Im not good at rucking 3 or more players at the rucks alone.Sometimes I overcommit the ruck and leaving the ball free.
I need some advice when tackling from the front, side and back that I gave some very poor tries in the past that I normally go for to strip for the ball.
I can also kick with both of my legs but I have a nagging injury on my right which is my kicking leg.Should I focus on strengthing my left leg and doing more practice on my left?
I have very good catching for passes and kicks but I do have trouble to catch high ball and long kicks in wet weather condition.
I'm very good about my knowledge in my game but having trouble to reading the opponents attacking and where and when should I kick it?
Should I practice more on my top speed then acceleration?
Will it be good when they kick the ball to the fullback or right winger to support them?
Should I also try different postion to work more and support my team like playing centre or flanker?
Should I play with my instincts when I being pressured on the field?
Should I sidestep or using other evasion skills to past my opponent one on one than just using pure speed and strength?
What do I do when I run outside of the winger but the outside centre trying to tackle me close to the sideline?

Answer
Hi sorry it taken so long to get back to you.

I would have to say that it appears to that you might be over thinking your game. I will do my best to answer your questions.

1. Opponents attacking and where and when should I kick it? This is an experience thing. If the guy is running up fast take advantage of it and kick over or around him. Involve your flanker or inside back and let them know this is a move you might play. If the guy is holding off then make your own options, run around is the best option.

2. Should I practice more on my top speed then acceleration? Yes. Never stop doing this.
3. Will it be good when they kick the ball to the fullback or right winger to support them? Yes but talk with your full back about it. Also if it is obvious that he is getting pressure definitely support him.

4. Should I also try different position to work more and support my team like playing center or flanker? No just study the game as a whole and watch as much top level rugby as you can.

5. Should I play with my instincts when I being pressured on the field? Yes as I said above I feel you are over thinking your game. The time to analyze is after the game to learn from what worked or didn't work.

6. Should I sidestep or using other evasion skills to past my opponent one on one than just using pure speed and strength? it depends on the situation any of those are each equally good if the situation calls for it. Use your strengths but work to be as good as you can in all aspect.

7. What do I do when I run outside of the winger but the outside center trying to tackle me close to the sideline? As above you may run around him, kick fend.

Do not over think things.

Do not be afraid to make mistakes it is how you learn. Just go and if it works great if not try something else learn to adapt during the game.
