going from second row to hooker

2016/7/16 9:56:53

Question
i currently play second row and i'm 6" 3' but i want to play in the hooker position, am i too tall to play hooker?

Answer
Hello, very sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

If your props are the same height or taller I would say you are fine. If they are within and inch or 2 and are very skilled props I would say you could be ok but not the best situation. If your props are average and 6 foot or less then don't go to hooker for your own safety.

As a general answer I would say 6 foot 3 is a little tall but it does depend on your team mates too.

Regards
