When a starter is taken out of the game and reenters do they renter into the same line up position they were in to start the game? Or do they asume the line up position of who they replaced? ASA 12U Fastpitch.

Answer Hi John,
a starter can only re-enter in their ORIGINAL batting position. A sub for that starter can only re-enter in that specific batting position.
ie #1, B3, subbed for by #2, #1 can only re-enter at B3 and when they do #2 comes out of the game and can only re-enter as a sub at B3
