10U Fast Pitch Baseball: Outfielder Positioning & Rover Rules
Question
Can you tell me is their a rule that says how far out of the base line the outfielders must play? Also the rover? Can the rover play any where? Please tell me where this rule is found in the ASA book. thanks, Tina
Answer
Tina,
You won't find any rule regarding where the outfielders must play. The rules just state that all the players must be in fair territory (except the catcher) at the time of the pitch. ASA does not have a rover in 10U. The rover must be a local rule.
