EP Rules: Player Substitutions in Co-ed Softball

If I use the EP, can I substitute players on defense?

Answer
Even though this isn't a fast pitch question, the EP works the same. Simply put you have 10 offensive players in the line-up. Any 9 of those 10 can play defense and it is not a substitution. Of course if you are talking slow pitch the numbers are 10 and 11 not 9 and 10.
