Slow Pitch Baseball: Foot Placement and Legality - Expert Answer

Question
I know you must have one foot on the rubber before delivery. My question is can
your body be in front of the rubber or does it have to be behind the rubber? Our
pitcher stands still without any kind of wind-up and he always stands with his
left foot on the rubber and his right foot and body in front of the rubber(right
handed pitcher). Is this legal or not? Thanks for your time!!

Answer
hi shane,
as long as he has 1 foot in contact w/ the pp and complies w/6-1-c C. The pitcher must come to a full and complete stop with the ball in front of the body. The front of the body must face the batter. This position must be maintained at least one second before starting the delivery.  He can stand where he wants.  Sounds legal to me by your description
