Softball Base Running Rules for 11-12 Year Olds: When Can Runners Advance?

In the 11&12 age group girls fastpitch softball when can the base runner leave the bag.

Answer
It depends on the rules being used.  I know with ASA it is the same as the older girls, they can't leave until the ball leaves the pitchers hand.  I think this would be the Major level age group for Little League and I think, but am not sure, they can't leave until the ball crosses the plate.
