Throwmax Elbow support allowed?

Question
My daughter uses the Throwmax elbow support when pitching. This device helps keep her elbow straight when throwing her pitches and has been very helpful to her. Some coaches think this is illegal to use during a game but have no found anything in the ASA rules that disallow using it. I contend it is no different than a knee guard and does not give an "advantage" to the pitcher. Bottom line, before my daugther gets used to using it in a game, do ASA rules allow for use of the throwmax device on a pitcher during a game. I would appreciate you thoughts.

Answer
Hi Lisa,

I actually checked their web site, looks like a good product to me.  Part of what it seems to me to do is protect (somewhat) the extensor muscles of the forearm from stressing the lateral epicondyle.  Particularly in youngsters I like that!

I can find no rule against using it in ASA play...so therefore it's legal.
