Volleyball recruiting skills tape

I am helping on of my players make a skills tape and don't really know where I should be positioned while filming. Should I be a little behind her so that we can also see the court or up close in front to see her form? I just viewed one, where the camera was to the side a little in front while the player was passing and serving. You don't see the final product, but get a good look at the player's form.

I like to see the player and the court.  So when the player hits and sets try to find a spot where I can see where the ball goes after the attack is made.  Or get an angle where I can see where the set is.  When the player is serving place the camera in a spot where you can see that the ball lands in bounds and to a zone or with some speed.

If she is a setter make sure she is setting all the sets to a hitter who can hit.  If she sets well and the hitter never puts the ball in play it is hard to watch and you start to think that it may be the sets.  If she is a middle have her hit all the shots she can hit, make sure you are using a good setter or tosser.

When you have the player pass, have some hit down ball and someone be a target.  this way the coach can see the speed of the hit and where the ball goes when it is passed.
