Pflueger & Brookline reels

Question

Pflueger (top) & Brook
I acquired these reels a few years back. One is stamped Pflueger trade Nobby mark No. 1963 made in USA and the other is stamped Brooklure No. 20. Can you tell me anything about them and if they have any value? As you can see, their condition isn't the best but I could clean them up some.

Pflueger was one of the early fishing tackle companies that started in the late 1800s out of Akron Ohio. I believe Shakespeare made reels for them.

These are both fairly common fishing reels (high volume low cost in their day), and fisherman typically did not throw away fishing reels. They were made in the 30s, 40s

Without the original box, etc they typically run $5 each maybe a little more for the Nobby. (with the box in excellent condition $20-$30).

If you search ORCA Fishing reels and go to their  Reel Talk forum you can learn more.
