hardy split cane fly fishing rod in J S Sharpe bag

Hi we have a 2 piece split cane fly fishing rod. It has Hardy Brothers on the bottom of the rounded base. It has a cork handle and is intact,with all rings etc. It is in a olive cotton bag with an embroidered black label.J S Sharpe ABERDEEN in gold thread and a Scottie dog also in gold thread. Could you tell me the value of this rod and the date  Thanks Chris

Hi Chris,

Obviously, the rod and the bag do not go together as an original set.  Some one has found a Sharpe bag to hold their Hardy rod.

I need a little more information about the rod.  How many sections?  How long is it?  Is there any other writing or engraving on the rod?
Perhaps some numbers or a model name?
