Question of value on my Fenwick Rod.

Question
I have just recv'd a vintage looking Fenwick rod. I am looking to either sell it or insure it for my collection.

Item Description:
Fenwick FS50
5' 152 cm
1/16-1/4oz
1-4lb line
2 5/8oz 74. #This is all printed in white on the rod near the handle#

The handle also is of cork screw looking material, with a Fenwick sticker still on the handle. The rod is a light brown color. Also the dark brown Fenwick rod tube is with the pole. Both items are is very good condition, no nicks, scrapes, all rings and condition of the pole seem to be in excellent condition. I have no idea what this is worth a rough idea about it. Not much time to look into it right now.

Also I read that you have the ability to sell vintage bamboo rods? I am thinking about unloading my collection of 47 vintage rod's from fly fishing to salmon cane fly rods. All vintage and in my climate controlled custom cabinets. I am looking to sell them all along with my vintage baskets. About 20 of them. Not sure what they are all worth. To start with though I would enjoy finding out about this pole listed above. Thank you for your time in advance.

Signed, Christopher Jensen

Answer
Christopher
Is the rod ,fly or spinning? Fly has handle above reel. Is it bamboo (flat sided) fiberglass or graphite(round). Bamboo fly rods are worth a whole lot more.
I do resale bamboo fly rods on commission.
