Fall Fishing Tactics for North Jersey Ponds: Bass & Sunfish

Question
okay, there is this fairly small pond in my friend's backyard. now that it is fall, im not catching alot of fish. the pond has a small and shallow inlet its connected to a stream its filled with grass. the end is fairly deep (10ft at the most) i have caught sunnies, yellow pearch, and mostly bass. this pond is in north jersey. i have been using some crank baits, but mostly a powerbait called "blade dancer" and those dont seem to be working...What tactics should i use now?

Answer
Bass get tough now.  Slow and deep.  Look for the deepest spots you can find and fish jig and pig, or something like a Gulp minnow very slow along the bottom.  Also, don't waste your time early in the morning.  Late afternoons will be better when the shallows warm up.  If you get a warm day your shallow cranks or spinnerbaits could still work around weeds.  Bass just slow down if the water gets cold.
