fly rod tip

hello: i have  a cabela fy rod and recently broke the tip putting in the case. are the tips covered by  warranty? if not where can i get a replacement? the model is "ft 1108-3" 8 weight, 11 ft. thank you

Hi Jerome,

Unless it was broke fighting a fish, it probably isn't under warranty.  As far as getting a new tip, it's worth a try to ask Cabelas.  They have a great on-line customer service feature and I have received answers back within the same day.

Cabelas customer service is awesome so they may be able to do something for you.
