Abbey & Imbrie 100th Anniversary Rod Value & Sale - Expert Advice

Joe-  I have a 4 piece Abbey & Imbrie bamboo rod w/ agate(?)
eyes that is marked 100th Anniversary 1820-1920.

I am moving and would like to sell it....any thoughts as to
value and how to go about selling??  I am in Atlanta

Hi Bert,

The Centennial model sold by A&I in Good-Very Good condition would be valued in the $175-$250 range; in Excellent-Mint condition it would be in the $275-$350 range.

You might try the local fly fishing clubs for leads to buyers.  Or, one of the online forums that discuss bamboo rods, or an online auction.
