Wright & McGill fly rod

Question
I have an Wright & McGill Trailmaster 4-tmh 7.5 ft rod. I have had no luck finding info on this. I do know its fairly old and in like new condition. It was my grandfathers. I would like any and all info on .
Thanks

Answer
Joe,

Wright and McGill went into business back in 1925. After WWII they purchased Goodwin Granger to expand their market into fly fishing (their bamboo rods were inferior to Granger). Your rod is a later fiberglass rod. (Eventually they were purchased by Eagle Claw).

The trailmaster rods were very popular and are fairly common item. They run in the $10 to $40 range, depending on condition, and completeness....original cloth bag, tube, etc.

keep me in mind if you have any fishing items to sell.
