Hello Joe,
I am writing from Spain.
I own a Hardy graphite Smuggler, 7 pieces, 8 foot 2 1/2, #6 which I bought more that 30 years ago while working in the UK. It comes in a metal casing covered with light coloured thick leather. It is unused and it still has the plastic wrapping in the handle and all the paper labels.
Unfortunately age and economics might force me to sell it together with a limited edition unused numbered Sovereign reel of the same vintage.
My question is: how much can I expect to obtain for each item?

Hi Armando,

I don't have this rod in my reference materials.  I did some looking at the online auctions and found similar rods offered in the $400-$600 range.  You might do additional searches and see how your results compare.

I also don't list the reel.  Some searching of the online auctions indicate a similar value may be appropriate for the reel, $400-$600 range.  Again, you may want to do some searching on your own before setting a price.

This is a very nice outfit, it is a shame you may need to part with it.
