South Bend Bamboo Fly Rod #323 - Authenticity & Specs

I have a South Bend Bamboo fly rod with bag,metal tue and extra tip. It is #323 and is 8ft.All sections are the same exact size.The decal has an imperfection on the number for the length of the rod.It has D-HDH for the line weight. Could this be an 8ft rod? It is in excellent condition.
