Granger Aristocrat Line Weight

Dear Mr. Wisniewski,
I have a Wright & McGill Granger Aristocrat in 9.5 foot length.  Can you tell me what weight line this rod is rated for, and what type fishing.

Hi Chuck,

The fly line weight will tell me more about what you could use it for.  Somewhere on the rod there will either be the line weight listed in numbers (like 6 wt.) or in letters (like HDH).  Look the rod over and write me back.
