True Temper Steel Fishing Rods

I have three steel True Temper rods: a six sided solid steel casting rod with True Temper on the rod and handle;a tapered tubular steel True Temper fly rod and a tapered tubular steel casting with American Fork and Hoe on the rod and True Temper on the handle.  The fore grip on the handle requires repair and I am wondering if you would have a picture of a handle showing its shape or could you sketch it for me?

Hi Bill,

I have a couple of these old steel rods myself including one American Fork and Hoe rod.  Do you have the ability to take and send me via email a picture of the rod that needs repair?  If so, send it to [email protected] and I will see if I have anything that matches or if I can tell you what to do.  It should be fairly straightforward.

These steel rods were what we used all the time when I was a kid.  In today's market they don't have much value, but they work just fine and catch a lot of fish.
