Farlow dating system

Rich, glad to meet you . Been fishing cane fly rods for 40 years, wouldn't change, I love them. Iv'e got quite a good collection, mainly Hardy and Sharpes, and of course Alex Martin.  Recently I aquired a Farlow 8.5 ft., spare tip, outstanding condition, a dream.  By it's general appearance I would it is old. I have been running round in circles looking for a Farlow dating system,[similar to Hardy's] to put a date to this old boy. The Farlow site is not helpfull.I would appreciate any morsel you could throw my way.

I am sorry to report all my knowledge and books are on US rods . But I did use a book once to price a Farlow from a major (Denver) library, Fishing Tackle Graham Turner   which contains allot of UK rods.
I would also suggest an email to Farlows rather than just looking at their site.
