How to Spool a Fishing Reel: A Beginner's Guide (Match Pro GT 3000)

i bought a starter fishing kit yesturday.Firstly how do you put line on a reel my reel is a match pro gt 3000? cheers

'm not familiar with a match pro gt 3000, but there are two basic types of reels stationary spool and revolving spool. In stationary spools, spinning and spin cast, you want to set the spool of line on the floor and take the line off the end of the spool.  Take a few turns with your reel and if the line is tangling turn the spool of line on the floor over and that should take care of the tangles. On revolving spools, casting and fly,  you want to put a pencil or something through the hole in the spool of line and pull the line offs with a little tension on the spool of line.
