orvis Bamboo impregnated Rods

Question
I have a 7 ft Orvis Bamboo rod (orvis impregnated ) two piece in mint shape There is no damage to it,
Its markings say 1/8 to 1/2 oz lures It also says Mottowee special 7 4 5/8oz

It has a aluminum case and a cover ,
I want to no what its age is or around about
It doesnt have as serial # anyware and i am looking to sell it on ebay but i havent seen any of the same thing on ebay i dont want to sell it for the wrong price do you have any suggestions?

I have to assume that you have a bait casting rod not a fly rod. A casting rod has the reel seat above the handle, while a fly rod has the reel seat (holder) below the cork handle. If there is a value to bamboo casting rods I have not found a good place to sell them especially ebay. I have not been able to give them away to tell you the truth.
Good luck , sorry But I don't have much information because history books on casting rods are rare. I am a fly fisher and a bamboo fly rod man myself.  You might try orvis.com
