What is the best type of lure for pond fishing in kansas for bass and crappie?

If you want some good all around lures, which will work for both bass and crappie, go with some old stand-bys.  These are the Beetle Spin, Road Runner and curl tail grub.  All of these will catch both species.

As for size, use 1/8 and 1/4 ounce, in white, and chartreuse colors.
