Hello Tom, I am just starting to get into and learn about fishing, I bought a new fishing rod the other day and the line jammed up on me. I took the reel apart, untangled the line, and now I have no idea how to restring the line through the reel. No directions came with my pole. help me out if you can, thanx.

It's hard to tell you what to do not knowing what type of reel you are using. My advise would be to go to a tackle shop and ask for some help. Most will be willing to help you because you are a future customer. It also helps to get a fishing buddy that can give you tips.
